During this month of Thanksgiving, the Rotary Club of Rockville presented a Paul Harris award to Susanne Beason in recognition of her tireless efforts to ensure the success of our 2023 Fall Family Fest.
Susanne worked alongside other volunteers to recruit sponsors, post signs, negotiate with vendors and organize decorations. Susanne also added a bit of German authenticity by contributing her family recipes and patiently coaching her fellow Rotarians and Maple Grove volunteers on the proper preparation of (very yummy) Bavarian pretzels, sauerkraut and vegan soup.
Thanks in large part to Susanne's efforts, our combined organizations raised almost $10,000 which will be directed towards worthy causes within our Rockville and Global communities.
